PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:


You will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of a range of specialised cyber security services resulting in the Safe and Secure implementation of ICT projects across the department.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ensure that ICT products and their product teams meet cyber security maturity levels
  • Support the development and implementation of M365 Security product and features that ensure compliance with the department's cyber security strategies, frameworks, policies, guidelines, and directives.
  • Maintain expertise in emerging cybersecurity risks, trends, and technologies as well as provide a broad and thorough understanding of all business risks and threats to inform highquality, expert advice to key stakeholders.
  • Follow standard project management and administrative procedures that support efficient, customercentric delivery for cyber security services.
  • Negotiate, influence, and collaborate with other teams, clients, and vendors to create positive engagement and ensure appropriate expectations and deadlines are met.
  • Support the Cyber Security Management team and the Chief Information Security Officer in exercising their duties.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

You will be accountable for one or more of the key focus areas in Information Security System.

These currently include the following areas of Cyber Security specialisation:

  • Advisory and Privacy, Security Assurance
  • Education and Awareness
  • Cloud Services
  • ACSC's Essential Eight Mitigation Controls
  • Technical knowledge/experience in deploying/assessing/managing most of Microsoft O365 such as M365 Defender, M365 Purview DLP, Classification and Labelling, Data Lifecycle and governance, Encryption, and Rights Management.
  • Experienced in MFA, Conditional Access, and Cloud App Discovery (CASB).
  • Technical knowledge/experience in Microsoft Azure.
