The role:


Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the primary focus of this position is to manage and coordinate the payroll process for the company.


The responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Overseeing the payroll process of employees of salaried, and casual staff
  • Maintaining and updating employee information, new starters, and terminations
  • Processing of Payroll Tax, Superannuation and Child Support
  • Preparation and reporting of Payroll statutory requirements
  • Supporting and mentoring small team of Payroll Officers
  • Overseeing the Time and Attendance system
  • Continuous improvement and system implementation
  • EOM and EOY reporting.

About you:

To be successful for this position, you must have previous, demonstrated experience in the position accountabilities. You will have a strong understanding of payroll legislation, Awards and Agreements, and a positive and enthusiastic approach.

You must demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Strong time management and attention to details
  • Proficient with systems
