About the role


The ICT Operations Co-ordinator is responsible for co-ordinating delivery of day-to-day information and communication technology (ICT) services to support the needs of Geelong Arts Centre.

Through effective management of vendors, managed service providers and external partners, together with supervision of the IT Service Desk Officer, this role ensures provision of operational ICT support, resolution of ICT issues and delivery of outcomes in a timely manner, based on urgency and business criticality.


The ICT Operations Co-ordinator will co-ordinate the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware, software, networks and systems, with a focus on responsible asset management, business continuity and strong governance and reporting to ensure agreed service levels and business expectations are met.


Skills and Experiences:

Essential Capabilities

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role providing ICT operations support and coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with vendors and external service providers
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, coach and manage ICT staff.
Desirable qualifications and experience

  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working within the Arts sector.
Special requirements


Work outside of standard hours may be required from time to time in order to meet internal and external budget and financial reporting deadlines.

  • Current and valid Working with Children's Check (employee).
The employee must provide evidence that they hold current certifications prior to commencing employment with Geelong Arts Centre.

The employee must maintain currency of these checks, licences and certifications for the duration of their employment with Geelong Arts Centre.
