The Opportunity

  • Do you have a passion for developing policies and providing advice that makes a real difference? As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to undertake cuttingedge research and analysis to support budget proposal development, program evaluation activities, and performance reporting.
  • Are you a master at interpreting complex data and program policies? We're looking for someone who can use their skills to help us deliver operational activities, improve business processes, and design better programs.
  • Want to make a tangible impact? As part of our team, you'll have the chance to manage procurement activities and contracts, oversee program evaluation and reporting, and more.

About You

  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to identify and synthesise a wide range of information and screening program data to provide clear policy advice
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft complex policy documents and quality briefings in short timeframes
  • Ability to quickly gain an understanding of current and emerging issues and work within Departmental processes
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative and collegiate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly in stateCommonwealth relations and working with clinical/technical experts to influence positive outcomes
  • A highly motivated selfstarter with a continuous improvement/best practice attitude
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to work within a project management framework, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines within a busy team environment under limited direction.
