YOUR NEW ROLE/CAREER

As one of the firm's KEY litigators, reporting to an incredibly multi-talented erudite Managing Partner, you will relish the challenge+ diversity+inner fulfilment ofyour unique 'dual' litigation practice: 1)sophisticated/high-value commercial disputes in Superior Courts; and 2) large & complex group/class-actions disputes (particularly with a social justice/human rights 'flavour').

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

  • Are a lawyer admitted to practice in NSW with min 2+ years post qualification experience [up to Associate level] in high-end commercial litigation and/or class actions;
  • Have proven solid experience litigating in the higher courts-Federal and Supreme Courts (ESSENTIAL);
  • Have class actions experience (preferable) OR if none, are committed to learning+ have a serious genuine interest in practising in this niche long-term [ESSENTIAL];
  • have strong technical drafting, advocacy, negotiation+ client management skills;
  • set yourself high standards +are driven to obtain the best outcomes for clients;
  • thrive in a strong team-focused, down-to-earth, collaborative work environment where high performers are valued+ rewarded;
  • are willing and able to travel interstate as an when required (approx 3-4 times/year for short durations)- preferable but not essential;
  • are hungry to 'sharpen your sword'+turbo charge your litigation career with a 1st-class litigation firm that invests in their staff long-term.
