About Us

With a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hazelmere WA and distribution centres across Australia and New Zealand, BGC Plasterboard and Fibre Cement produce premium quality value for money distinctive building products, including various plasterboard, cornice and joining compounds for internal lining and a large range of external claddings for residential and commercial building projects.


T

he Opportunity

Your typical day will include:

  • Leading and developing a small team of Forklift Operators and Truck Drivers including daily job scheduling, leading toolbox and daily prestart meetings
  • Management of site HS&E requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with business unit procedures and quality standards and identifying areas for continuous improvement
  • Ensuring inventory records are maintained including stocktaking, stock level monitoring, stock returns and excess stock disposal
  • General yard and plant maintenance and housekeeping

About you
To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar leadership position within a warehousing or logistics operation
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with various stakeholders, and coach and guide staff
  • Strong decision making, problem solving and organisational skills with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Intermediate computer literacy, particularly MS Office
  • Current LF Forklift Ticket
  • Current Driver's Licence
