We have exciting opportunities for an experienced Assistant Village Manager to join our Operations teams located at our Karratha Village in the Pilbara region of Western Australia

Full-time, Permanent Position Available.

This is a senior role responsible for all village operations including employee development and management (including performance management), client relations, maintaining HSQE and ISO Quality Assurance Certifications, auditing, budgeting, and reporting.

Note: these roles may require candidates to undergo psychometric testing as part of the recruitment process.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Demonstrated relevant work experience in a management or supervisory level role within the commercial hospitality industry
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business or hospitality discipline (desirable)
  • Certificate II in Security Operations (qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not hold this)
  • A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (RMLV preferred)
  • Advanced First Aid certificate (qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not hold this)
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening
  • A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
  • Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
  • Experience in high volume, fast paced work environments
  • Competence to train / assist in staff training
  • Capability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent computer and administrative skills
  • Highly developed financial analysis skills
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with accommodation software packages (preferably RMS9)
  • Remote work experience (highly regarded)
  • Class C, Manual Driver's Licence (highly regarded)
