The Property and City Design team at Monash support the organisation with management of its property portfolio, design of assets and the public realm and strategic project management to ensure the municipality has appropriate assets to deliver its services to the community now and into the future.
This is an opportunity for a motivated property professional seeking to develop and expand their property skills in an exciting and diverse portfolio of public land compromised of neighbourhood houses, childcare centres, libraries, car parks, sports pavilions etc.
The role supports delivery of a full scope of property management responsibilities, including preparation and finalising of leases and licences, project management administration, researching property ownership, and delving into laneway discontinuances and sales.
You will:
Enjoy working in a team;
Be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the management of public land;
Have a proactive approach to problem-solving with well-developed analytical, investigative and research skills;
Have well-developed, interpersonal skills including the ability negotiate positive outcomes; and
Be detail driven and exhibit strong administrative skills.
Requirements of the position
A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience working in a public land environment;
Right to work in Australia;
Satisfactory National Police Check; and
Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
