We are seeking a Data Engineer at Defence Health to join the Actuarial and Analytics team.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Ongoing development, support and maintenance of our end-to-end Enterprise Data Platform.
  • Performing data and system analysis as required by business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • More than 2 years of experience in ETL development, data modelling and data warehouse development.
  • Advance skills in SQL code, SQL views, Stored Procs and SQL Server SSIS development
  • Experience with the following technologies

o C#

o XML and JSON

o SQL Job Agents

o Rest API

o Powershell scripting (used for deployment and testing)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort working to deadlines, under pressure, ambiguity, frequently change and unpredictability.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline
