What is the role?
As a Junior Buyer, your duties and responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the administration function for your respective category including order raising, stock allocation and system maintenance
• Ensure communication to staff and stores are delivered efficiently
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive your category stock turns, product placement and product knowledge
• Manage your own developing categories and ensure they meet or exceed seasonal sales targets
• Assist direct Manager with editing the product mix of categories to reflect current trends and consumer target
• Assist the Buyers in driving development of company exclusive and first to market products
• Assist the team with monthly reviews on top and bottom performing styles and report learning's back to greater team with the aim to drive improvements in the future
• Support the Buyers in driving development of exclusive and first to market products

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 12 months of experience as an Assistant Buyer
• A fashion or business degree is highly regarded
• Experience in retail sales is highly regarded
• A track record of maximizing category growth above and beyond what was expected in a similar role
• Knowledge or exposure to the fashion industry and its current trends
