About the Opportunity

  • As a Fitness Leader in ECH Wellness Programs for individuals aged 50+, your responsibilities will include leading group exercise classes, providing personalised 1on1 training with guidance from an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist, designing, delivering, and monitoring activities for clients, promoting health and wellness within the community, and working with individuals with diverse capabilities, fitness levels, and specialised conditions.

About You

  • You have demonstrated genuine commitment to helping older people retain their independence so they can remain at home in the community
  • You understand the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of older people, including those living with Dementia
  • You are kind, even when a bit stressed out, dynamic and energetic. You possess strong time management skills and are adaptable to change.
  • You possess a Cert IV in Fitness and a registration and/or accreditation with the appropriate professional board or association (ESSA or Fitness Australia)
  • You are up to date with your covid vaccination dose 1 and
  • It would also help if you possessed a current police check and are aware of First Aid and CPR

The salary for this position is $ 31.20/hr - Subject to qualifications and experience
