About the Role

This exciting organisation is a fast-growing business with a diverse and unique multi-brand product portfolio.

They are seeking an experienced generalist marketing leader with experience in omni-channel B2C and B2B product marketing to support the growth of their businesses in retail and wholesale sales, including eCommerce.

Reporting to the General Manager and managing a small marketing team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategy for the business units and brands within the group.

You will develop and implement brand and marketing plans, considering the various target audiences, and oversee the team on the effective delivery across each channel and the media mix.


Here's a summary of what you'll be responsible for:
Collaborating across all functions of the business, assessing existing and developing new strategies to implement plans to optimise customer outcomes;
Developing comprehensive strategic brand and marketing plans for retail and wholesale distribution that align with business objectives and capitalise on market opportunities;
Focus on brand awareness, lead generation and customer engagement across all segments

Developing each of the businesses' long-term visions and strategies, defining priorities and tracking the performance against sales forecasts;
Lead and inspire a collaborative marketing team to achieve ambitious goals and maintaining a high-performance culture (Marketing Manager, eCommerce Manager and Social Media specialist)

Utilise data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly to maximise impact and achieve business objectives;
Take charge of content distribution across platforms, optimising for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), sales and engagement;
Develop and recommend investment priorities and phased spending plans against agreed growth objectives; and


Generate regular reports to track and analyse all marketing activities, including campaign performance, lead generation metrics, website traffic, social media engagement, and partner / sponsorship ROI.

About You


This role requires a marketer with experience in both retail and wholesale distribution, and a leader who is excited at the prospect of working with a business on a strong growth trajectory.

You will bring a positive, empowering leadership style and foster a culture of personal development, fun and high performance.

Here's what you'll need to be considered for this role:

Brisbane based, with the ability to travel to and work from the head office in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane at least once a week;
Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, communications, or a related field;
10 + years marketing experience in retail / wholesale, with experience leading a team of marketing specialists, including digital and eCommerce;
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and strategic marketing plans;
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams;
Previous experience in managing and developing a marketing team with a focus on developing and empowering team members to achieve their full potential;
Proven experience in effective strategic planning, project management and campaign execution;
Proven track record of leading, ideating and executing growth initiatives; and

A strong customer experience mindset and proven experience in customer growth and retention.
