This role could see you support a broader team in:

  • Financial and regulatory reporting
  • Budget development and estimate preparation
  • Technical accounting advice on new policies, business cases and infrastructure projects
  • Interpreting international accounting standards for the public sector
  • Automation of financial processes
  • Advising CFOs on financial frameworks and governance
  • Financial data analytics
  • Functional and efficiency reviews
  • Integrated business reporting
  • Writing board papers, reports, and proposals

Qualifications:

Australian security clearance, or ability to obtain one - please note, Australian citizenship is required to obtain this clearance:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (including currently undertaking CA or planning to commence within the next 1-2 years) coupled with any relevant experience in Professional Services or in industry
  • A passion for delivering innovative client solutions using your excellent communication and problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated experience or capability for working with government entities in the delivery of financial or budgetary management
  • A commercial and analytical mindset with welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills, and strong project management skills
