Job Description We're looking for a proactive Senior Electrical Engineer to join our esteemed engineering team.
This pivotal role involves leading the electrical aspects of our large-scale renewable energy projects.

You'll be responsible for providing technical expertise and managing designs for electrical components in our wind, solar, and battery projects throughout their lifecycle, from development to construction and operation/maintenance.


Development Phase:
Assess and develop new project opportunities, analyse grid connections, and provide support for construction planning.

Delivery and Construction Phase:

Manage the delivery of primary electrical systems, review technical documents by consultants, prepare specifications & scopes of work, and provide construction support.


Operations Phase:
Provide technical advice, design documents for upgrades, and support system testing and commissioning.

General:

Act as point of contact for the electrical team, maintain standards, support overseas projects, and solve complex technical problems.

If you're an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for renewable energy, a strong background in HV substation primary plant design, and a drive for technical excellence, then this opportunity is tailored for you.

Required Skills and Competencies Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Extensive experience in consulting or design management roles.
Background in power generation, mining or a related industry.
Strong technical report and scope writing skills, with experience working in interdisciplinary teams.
Commercial acumen and a focus on delivering successful project outcomes.
