Full timeAs a senior structural consulting engineer, you have direct responsibility for the management and growth of the civil/structural work group.

You will support the peers/staff within your team grow to their potential and foster a positive, high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Liaising with clientele involved with engineering projects.

Assist in presentations to prospective clients and manage key client relationships;Application of engineering principles, techniques and methods to engineering projects;Conducting engineering inspection, analysis, design and computation on steel and concrete structures;Carry out structural audits of critical assets, plant and equipment;Reviewing and developing the companies Structural Engineering activities to meet and exceed client's expectations.

Preparing project proposal, execution plan, engineering specification, scope of work, estimation, tender documents, resource coordination, reporting, liaising & communicating with clients.

Keeping up to date with latest technological advances/innovative solutions for client problems.

The successful applicant will ideally have:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering with project management and supervisory experience.
CPEng and RPEQ status are highly advantageous.
Experience in inspecting steel and concrete structures.

Experience in durability assessment of concrete structuresMinimum five years of experience in a field related to Testing, Inspection or Asset Care Services.

Strong communication and people skillsStrong computer and systems skills and knowledgeAbout UsSRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
