The primary focus of this role will be to oversee operations and will involve day-to-day decision making, delegation of tasks and enforcing of safety rules, policies and procedures.


Your day will involve:

  • Batching premix concrete into agitator trucks for delivery.
  • Communicating and coordinating with fleet of agitator drivers.
  • Ordering raw material stock of cement, sand, aggregates, additive chemicals, etc.
  • Facilitate safety initiatives including prestarts, toolboxes, and incident reporting.
  • General supervision of yard housekeeping, maintenance and plant operations as required.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders (customers, dispatching team, management, etc.)

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in managing/supervising teams in a similar role or industry.
  • Sound computer skills or experience in production systems/software.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required.
  • FEL licence and forklift licence will be highly regarded
  • Commitment to a culture of safety and zero harm.
