We are looking for Property Managers in Canberra locations.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Property Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring they are wellmaintained and meet the needs of tenants and owners.
  • Tenant Relations: Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing their concerns, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Lease Administration: Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Handle lease renewals, terminations, and rent adjustments.
  • Rent Collection: Monitor rent payments, send rent reminders, and follow up on late payments. Initiate legal actions if necessary.
  • Property Maintenance: Coordinate and supervise repairs, maintenance, and renovations. Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
  • Advertising and Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants. Advertise vacancies, conduct property showings, and screen prospective tenants.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets, income statements, and expense reports. Monitor and control propertyrelated expenses.
  • Legal Compliance: Stay updated on relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure properties comply with all legal requirements, such as safety regulations, accessibility standards, and fair housing laws.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess their condition, identify any issues, and ensure adherence to lease terms and property standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized and uptodate records of propertyrelated documents, such as leases, inspection reports, maintenance records, and tenant communication.

Source and manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for property maintenance, repairs, and other required services.

  • Dispute Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts between tenants and owners, handling disputes in a fair and professional manner.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, rental income, and expenses. Provide insights and recommendations for improving property profitability.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to properties, tenants, and owners. Implement appropriate security measures and insurance coverage.
  • Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Maintain relevant licenses and certifications.
