How will I help?


As an Associate within the Domestic and International Banks team, you will be responsible for supporting the coverage bankers drive strategic engagement and pro-active, advice-led business origination with Westpac's key banks clients.

The team's objective is to achieve high levels of year-on-year growth and optimal return on equity, by developing, managing and deepening the relationship with a portfolio of sophisticated banks clients and their subsidiaries/investment companies.


Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Providing support to our coverage bankers, you'll be a core member of deal teams marketing and implementing a wide range of institutional banking products and services.
  • Safe operation of the Bank's coverage team by making sure that all reporting and processes are successfully implemented.
  • Support of development and execution of Banks sector strategy.
  • Effective engagement of key stakeholders across risk, product, business development, Customer Insights and Analytics and group segments.
  • Internal Client Advocacy

  • Strong awareness of risks
  • High degree of responsiveness
  • Project management skills and credit experience, desirable


Degree qualified
  • Business/Finance/Accounting/Economics preferably
