The Role:

Two opportunities are available for Unaccredited Surgical Registrars in Vascular & AGSU at Northern Health for the 2025 medical year. The role involves providing inpatient and outpatient care to the growing population in the Northern Suburbs, covering both elective and emergency work.

This 12-month fixed term position includes rotations in the following departments:

  • 6 Months: Acute General Surgery
  • 6 Months: Vascular Surgery

This role requires working both independently and as part of a team, with an expectation to participate in the Vascular Surgery on-call roster.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Australian citizenship or valid working VISA/ability to apply
  • Current AHPRA registration or equivalent/eligible to apply
  • Proven knowledge and experience relevant to a surgical registrar role
