About the Role
***The role of Education Programs Lead has the opportunity to develop innovative, interpretative and engaging projects, education activities, special events and programs. These will be connected back to the collection, exhibitions and wider gallery services that meet the needs and expectations of the Gallery's diverse audience.


The position will be responsible for promoting the gallery, exhibitions and collections to the community including a diverse range of community groups, schools and other learning institutions.

A key part of this role is establishing and maintaining partnerships and networks with educational and community institutions.

About You


We are looking for an arts education professional who demonstrates a passion and extensive knowledge of contemporary Australian visual arts and education programs alongside experience in developing, coordinating, and evaluating events, projects, and public programs.


To be successful in this role you will bring experience in general and targeted promotion of events and programs along with the capacity to connect the gallery's artistic program to curriculum outcomes.


Role Details


This is a permanent part time role working 28 hours per week with a base salary ranging from $ $52.15 per hour based on demonstrated competencies + 11% p.a superannuation.
