Your Opportunity

  • Working as a Visual Merchandising Manager in this
-
12-month fixed term contract you will be working as part of the Visual Merchandising Team across all our Optical Retail banners in Australia and New Zealand. Our Optical banners include OPSM, Laubman & Pank and the international banners Ray-Ban, Sunglass Hut and Oakley. Part of EssilorLuxottica's global family we are home to the world's best luxury and lifestyle brands. This position will have a key focus on project leading and management of all store experience and initiatives across Optical and ensure an 'on brand' customer experience across physical channels for our Optical Retail Brands.
Requirements for Success

  • Responsible for the overall look and feel of the Optical Retail stores, the environment and experience created
  • Ambassador of visual merchandising guidelines ensuring the delivery and updating of clear, concise instructional documents and seamless execution.
  • Develop training and coaching guides for implementation of the guidelines and coaching teams on how to merchandise their store
  • Partnering with our global team to roll out global standards including but not exclusive to global music program, gift card program, development & execution for Flagship and key stores windows.
  • Lead local VM campaigns from briefing and production to execution for all Optical Retail campaigns.
  • Management of the VM budget to align with the brand ambitions
  • Work cross functionally to develop the direction for product optimalisation and service initiatives needed by the business
  • Create a fun, inclusive and energetic environment for all to engage

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Business specializing in Marketing/Merchandising
  • 3+ years' experience in a merchandising or marketing role
  • Planning and project management skills
  • Previous people management skills
  • Previous responsibility for managing budgets and accountability for results
  • Creative flair to bring to life globally developed concepts and solutions
  • Solid knowledge and understand of the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Previous experience with working with Global partners and local prop suppliers or store experience/design specialized agencies
