Do you have a passion for connecting the digital world to the physical one? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Data Centres at Arup, where you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems within mission-critical data centre facilities.

Leveraging your expertise in electrical engineering and your in-depth understanding of data center infrastructure, you will lead the development of innovative solutions to meet the demanding requirements of high-density computing environments.



The Opportunity

  • Provide detailed technical input across a broad range of projects within the electrical engineering business and related areas.
  • Prepare, oversee, and review project reports for clients summarising key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes.
  • Liaise with other disciplines within the region, providing expertise on electrical engineering as appropriate.
  • Promote added value to clients and spot new business opportunities.
  • Become involved in initiatives to improve the technical and commercial capabilities of the team.

Is this role right for you?

  • Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or similar area.
  • Significant experience in Electrical Engineering within a consulting business environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and design tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify and address complex electrical engineering challenges. Commitment to quality and excellence, with a focus on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.
