About the company
Our client is a leading in providing building and property consultancy and structural engineering services to the remedial building sector. With a strong emphasis on building defect remediation, concrete repair, rehabilitation façade refurbishment & structural repairs.
About the role
We are currently looking for a Senior Building Consultant to join the team of Building Consultants, Engineers and Building Surveyors to diagnose building defects, producing detailed reports & designs and oversee projects.
Key Responsibilities for the role
· Complete building defect and condition audits
· Investigations into defects
· Prepare detailed and structured reports
· Design & product technical specifications
· Complete tender processes
· Project management
Skills & experience
· 5-10 years proven experience within remedial building
· Strong understanding of Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards
· Excellent communication skills written & oral
· Ability to work independently & within a team
· Ability to work from height including scaffolding & rope access
Culture
Professional and passionate practice with over 20 years' experience in the field.
