Architectural Technologist

Are you a skilled Architectural Technician with strong Revit skills? Are you seeking an Architectural Technologist position where you can contribute to all stages of projects on dynamic retail ventures? Kingscroft is on the lookout for an Architectural Technologist to join a Multi-Disciplined firm that specializes in Surveying, Project Management, and Architecture for a diverse range of retail, commercial, industrial, and residential clients. In this position, you will primarily be involved in executing conversion, renovation, and upgrade projects for a retail customer base.

As the perfect candidate, you will possess extensive expertise in REVIT and be comfortable handling projects starting from the initial survey, generating detailed drawings, all the way to collaborating with contractors and clients.

Reporting directly to the Head of Projects, your responsibilities will include:

Duties:

Site Survey and Existing Documentation:
Detailed floor and roof plans

Internal and external elevations, sections, and sectional elevations

Reflective ceilings plans and services.

Preparation of current layout drawings, elevations, sections in plan, and model formats based on existing drawings and survey notes

Drawing Preparation and Management:
Creation of feasibility and conceptual design drawings

Generation of intricate technical proposal drawings, models, and visualizations using REVIT, Sketch-Up, and similar tools

Accountable for maintaining drawing quality

Client Communication

Ensuring Drawing/Model quality

Additional Responsibilities

Proactive interaction with Clients and their representatives

Collaboration with internal team

Development and oversight of project schedules, budget control, and expenditure reports

Preparation of project paperwork, such as specifications and pre-contract documents

Arranging and securing regulatory approvals, managing inquiries, and obtaining consents

Overseeing both office-based and on-site projects

Any other tasks or needs of the company or clients
