This Fixed term Grade 2 Dietitian position has been funded to assist in responding to children and families who have been waiting for services.
The position sits in a dynamic and diverse multidisciplinary paediatric service, adding to the current 1.0 eft of Paediatric Dietetics.
The focus of this role will be on undertaking initial assessments of new clients and where appropriate providing short term intervention and/or referring on for ongoing support.
To be Successful in this Role you will be a Dietitian who
- has strong assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment skills
- has experience working in a paediatric setting
- demonstrates a collaborative team approach to achieving positive outcomes
- has good communication skills and an ability to engage with children and families
