About the Role
Our client is looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their financial team in a Financial Analyst role.

The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Daily reconciliation
  • debtors, creditors & stock, and bank reconciliations
  • Daily cashflow
  • Process journals & GL uploads (lease, credit card, wages, accruals, trade spend, supplier recoveries, cheese quota, FX, gift cards, inventory rounding)
  • Monthend closing process
  • Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills
  • Manage relationships and handle queries with internal and external stakeholders
  • P&L Reporting and Analyses
  • 13 years experience an Assistant Accountant or Site Accountant role
  • Inventory experience
  • Strong excel skills (comfortable with vlook ups and pivot tables)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be immediately available or available on short notice
