Registered Nurse – Casual position

We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our nursing team in a flexible role at our Shepparton clinic, offering an excellent work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will :

  • Prefer working casual shifts
  • Be able to pick up shifts at short notice
  • Be flexible with working days

You should have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care, enjoy collaborating with a team, and be eager to enhance your skills.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will assist Radiologists and Technical staff with interventional procedures, obtain informed consent from patients, and provide care. The ideal candidate will either have experience in medical imaging or a keen interest in learning.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in various procedural tasks such as biopsies, lumbar punctures, drainages, and pain management injections
  • Supporting Cardiac Stress Testing
  • Desired experience in IV cannulation or a willingness to undergo training

What are we looking for?

  • Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities
  • Advanced Life Support qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory
