Where you come in:
In this part-time (9 days per fortnight) contract opportunity to June 2028, you'll work within a team to provide case management and safety planning support to women and children who are escaping or experiencing domestic violence, within the refuge accommodation program.
You will make an impact by:
- Facilitating the provision of safe accommodation to women and children escaping domestic and family violence.
- Conducting thorough gendered analysis of risk and needs assessments, within a trauma informed case management framework.
- Responding to risk with comprehensive safety planning.
- Working with families and their goals, to ultimately source appropriate, safe and sustainable housing free from violence.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to build relationships and further advocate for client needs.

This role requires:
- A Bachelor/Diploma of Social Work, Psychology or relevant Human Service Qualification and/or significant experience in a similar service
- Knowledge and understanding of domestic and family violence, including the impact on children.
- Experience working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Current drivers' licence.
