Are you someone who loves the challenge of unpicking customer problems, devising strategic solutions, and getting hands-on to deliver initiatives that drive business performance?


Reporting to the Content Experience Manager and working within a cross-functional Hub environment, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for optimising the organic performance of our web channel.

Working in collaboration with stakeholders across Content, Digital, Marketing and Product teams, you'll deliver initiatives that drive measurable performance outcomes for Medibank products and services


In this 12 month fixed term role, you will also play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of our enterprise SEO strategy, helping to raise the profile of the team and to help stakeholders understand the potential for organic channel optimisations to drive performance.


You will also look to:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to enhance the online visibility and search engine ranking of Medibank products and services
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimisation
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment of SEO strategies with overall marketing and business objectives
  • Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO enhancements and resolve issues affecting site performance.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of key SEO metrics, performance, and insights to stakeholders

Now, who are you?


Enough about us, let's talk about youyou are degree qualified and have experience working in a similar SEO role, ideally in the insurance or financial services industry.


You have in-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices and also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong reporting skills are essential and you will need to be proficient with using GA and/or Adobe Analytics.

Advanced skills with Search Console, Trends and Keyword Planner and other SEO tools such as Botify, BrightEdge and SEMRush are also required for this role.

You are familiar with Agile project methodology, have exceptional stakeholder management skills and are driven by results.


A strong understanding of technical SEO aspects, including website architecture, crawlability and mobile optimisation will see you succeed in this role.
