Planner
We are seeking a driven and experienced Planner to join the exciting centrally located, Swanson Dock Project.

You will play a key role in overseeing the planning and scheduling functions for the Project.- Competitive permanent, full-time remuneration package.

About the role

  • The Swanson Dock project is a collaboration with Port of Melbourne to rehabilitate one of Australia's busiest container terminals.
  • Managing the planning and controls functions for the project.
  • Establishing and maintaining accurate construction, procurement and deliverables schedules based on the Work Breakdown Structure and contract requirements.
  • Updating schedules on a regular basis to accurately reflect status of progress.
  • Amending schedules to reflect changes to the project scope.
  • The efficient and effective project implementation of project management software for the project to provide accurate forecasting and progress reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining scurve reports and provide overall progress reports and other matters related to schedule as required by the Project Manager.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry planning or scheduling experience.
  • Competent in planning and organising work schedules.
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of project planning systems, in particular Primavera Software P
  • Extensive use of risk management systems.
  • Proven ability to read technical drawings.
  • Broad knowledge of infrastructure, marine, mechanical, rail and civil construction.
