Role Overview

Our Disability Support Workers (DSW) offer high-quality care and assistance to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to shape and live the lifestyle they desire while empowering them to express themselves and reach their aspirations. We are currently seeking part-time DSWs for our Supported Disability Accommodation (SDA) residence in Heidelberg Heights.

SDA Heidelberg Heights

SDA Heidelberg Heights comprises of two units that can accommodate up to three residents each. Each unit features a shared bathroom, two spacious and bright open-plan living areas, fully equipped kitchens, outdoor living spaces, as well as staff quarters and bathrooms. The residence is conveniently located near various amenities, including Austin and Mercy Hospitals, Heidelberg and Rosanna Train Stations, Burgundy Street Shopping Precinct, Upper Heidelberg shops, and a diverse array of dining options.

About You

To excel in this position, you should have:

  • Demonstrated expertise and background in the Disability sector
  • Certificate IV in Disability
  • Familiarity with and reverence for the rights and choices of clients and their families
  • An individual-focused approach to delivering care and services
  • Basic proficiency in computer and administrative tasks
  • Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Valid Victorian Driver's License
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
