This role is a 9-month contract to cover parental leave, and is responsible for working together with the Head of Specialised Compliance, Executive Manager Specialised Compliance and Control Room team to undertake Control Room monitoring, advisory and training activities. This includes investigations, reporting as well as the implementation and maintenance of key policies, standards and procedures to ensure the effective management of key compliance risks of Market Abuse, Conflicts of Interest and Corruption.

This would be a great opportunity for a Compliance professional either as a Senior Analyst or early Manager level looking to further develop their career in a global banking environment and strengthen their experience in Control Room related compliance activities

Top Role Accountabilities

  • Support the Head of Specialised Compliance with undertaking of relevant Control Room activities
  • Produce monitoring reports to ensure incidents, findings and recommendations are raised appropriately.
  • Conduct investigations relevant to the Control Room, which includes investigation of incidents and breaches
  • Collaborating with the Executive Manager, Specialised Compliance and the Control Room team on the timely, accurate and highquality completion of Control Room activities

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Prior experience in a Compliance role within an APRA regulated financial services environment. Audit experienced will also be considered.
  • Bachelor of Commerce/ Economics/ Business/ Laws or relevant industry qualification.
  • Understanding of the Australian and New Zealand Market and Conduct regulatory environment and requirements
  • Strong desire to learn and develop your career within a Banking environment
