We are currently seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to join Quaker Oats at our Forrestfield factory.

Responsibilities:
  • Location: Forrestfield
  • Rotating roster - 6am-2pm (Week 1), 2pm-10pm (Week 2), 10pm-6am (Week 3)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Permanent full-time position
  • Selection Process: Phone Conversation, Interview, Online Testing, Background and Pre-Employment Medical Checks, Decision
In this role you will:
  • Ensure continuous operation of all packing equipment
  • Conduct regular quality control checks for labeling and print requirements
  • Monitor filling and sealing of bags correctly
  • Ensure finished product meets specifications
  • Complete documentation accurately
  • Report faults promptly to maintain operations
  • Drive KPIs and resolve basic machine faults
  • Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and reliability standards
  • Collaborate with other departments
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Effective communication and problemsolving skills
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements and work standards
  • Forklift operator certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
