About You

As a Casual Sessional in Vocational Education, your main responsibilities include delivering course material, assessing students, and supervising students in selected courses. Your involvement in reviewing course content, development, delivery, teaching methods, and student assessment is essential. Your performance is supported by engaging in activities to ensure your vocational competence aligns with educational standards.

We seek a sessional teacher with qualifications in land management and conservation environmental studies to teach in C5418 Diploma of Conservation & Ecosystem Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for teaching and consultancy environments.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, and diverse teaching methods.
- Competency-based assessment experience.
- Ability to identify and solve students' learning challenges.

Our ideal candidate will have:

- TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification; or higher-level adult education qualification.
- Teaching experience in Vocational Education is advantageous.
