Your Mission:- Contribute to creating cleaner and safer oceans by enhancing efficiencies and reducing accidents at sea.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data,
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly,
- Monitor cash flow and detect irregularities,
- Manage accounts payable/receivable proactively,
- Own financial reporting to the executive team,
- Ensure timely completion of all reporting requirements with high quality,
- Meet deadlines for various reporting requirements,
- Submit monthly closing financials accurately and punctually.
- Analyze and interpret financial data for business insights,
- Collaborate with departments to develop and monitor budgets,
- Lead annual budget process and quarterly forecasts,
- Understand integration needs across departments,
- Implement best practices for financial consistency,
- Identify and mitigate financial risks,
- Provide end-user training and support.
- Act as the company's point of contact with external advisors,
- Ensure timely compliance with local tax reporting.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory practices,
- Coordinate with internal/external auditors,
- Review commercial contracts for external review necessity.
- Establish internal controls for risk management,
- Coordinate with local bankers,
- Manage local insurance matters.
- Drive continuous improvement through cross-functional communication.
Requirements:
- Professional accountancy qualification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent),
- Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting/Business,
- Thorough understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles,
- Expertise in financial analysis, risk management, and legal compliance,
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure with attention to detail,
- Proven track record in project finances,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
This position is open to Permanent Residents and Australian Citizens.
