Recycling Sorter

We are seeking a meticulous individual to join our team in
Thomastown, VIC as a Recycling Sorter.

In this role, you will be responsible for hand sorting returned electrical and other types of damaged or faulty products, ensuring they are placed in appropriate recycling bins.

Some dismantling of products will be required, utilizing small hand tools.

Shift time:

• 6:30am start

Key Responsibilities:

• Hand sort returned electrical and damaged/faulty products.
• Properly place sorted items into designated recycling bins.
• Utilize small hand tools to dismantle products as necessary.
• Demonstrate understanding of different materials such as wires, metals, plastics, etc., to ensure accurate sorting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fastpaced environment.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Understanding of different materials and their recycling requirements.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical capability to lift and move items as needed.

Salary:
From $32.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

• Driver Licence (preferred)
