Multimedia Specialist

Working directly under the manager you will receive guidance that will allow you to contribute to the design, development, and production of digital resources.

You will assist in the creation of product videos, animation, and graphic elements for the marketing team. This opportunity will provide you with valuable industry experience and prepare you for your transition into the workplace.

It is expected that the role will typically be 3 days (7 hours per week) based on company commitments.

Essential selection criteria

• Currently studying or an IT graduate with a multimediarelated degree, with experience in video editing and/or relevant experience in the production of quality video and multimedia content.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Sound skills in editing and postproduction software using Adobe video editing tools (Premiere Rush, Premiere Pro) or equivalent multimedia production platform/tool.
• Ability to manage time and resources to complete tasks with competing deadlines.
• Ability to work as a team, to a brief and deliver to an agreed project timeline.
• Attention to detail in the development of polished online learning materials.
• Knowledge of common video formats, editing workflows and video hosting platforms (Vimeo).

Desirable:

• Experience and skills in photo editing and related tools (Lightroom, Photoshop)
• Experience and skills in animation, motion graphics and advanced Adobe editing tools (After Effects)
• Knowledge of project management tools to facilitate video production.

Salary:
Part-time approx. $29.52 to $32.63 per hour, plus 10% employer's superannuation.
