About the role


The overall purpose of the Apprenticeship / Traineeship Support Officer is to provide administrative support to the day to day operations of the Apprenticeship / Traineeship Support Unit.

The incumbent will perform a range of administrative tasks to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided to apprentices, trainees, teaching departments, employers and other relevant external stakeholders.


About the person

  • Seeking a person with apprenticeship and traineeship knowledge and experience
  • Someone with knowledge in the administration of apprenticeships and traineeships within an educational environment with a customer service background
  • Responsive to customer needs and able to follow operational requirements related compliance requirements associated to the apprentice and trainee lifecycle
  • You will have the opportunity to work within a customer focused unit to support the employer, apprentice and trainee journey with Victoria University Polytechnic.

Duties
An example of duties you may perform will include:

  • Provide administrative support across the Apprenticeship / Traineeship student lifecycle
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with employers
  • Contribute to the work effort of the Apprenticeship / Traineeship Support Unit to ensure key performance indicators are met
