Contribution to our space mission:
The responsibilities give a glimpse of your role, with more exciting tasks ahead:
- Weld, assemble, and fabricate metal structures and components
- Interpret technical drawings and follow work instructions
- Meet set task targets
- Inspect work for completeness
- Operate equipment like forklifts and cranes
- Perform metal piece part tasks
- Execute assigned duties for an efficient work environment
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Level 3 Welding Trade Qualification
- Certificate no. 7 GTAW
- Certificate no. 8G GMAW
- NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years welding experience
- 5+ years welding with various materials
- TIG welding experience in aerospace
- Proficient in blueprint reading and layout
- Experience in weld inspections
- Skills in crane and forklift operations
