The Gordon has a very exciting and rewarding opportunity for a skilled, confident and capable plumbing industry expert to join us in a

casual capacity as a

Teacher in the

Plumbing team.

Be responsible for delivering high quality content that will support our diverse student body achieve greatness in their chosen field.

Qualifications and skills for success in this role:
Successful completion of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110) inclusive of:

• TAEASS502 (design & develop assessment tools) or equivalent
• TAELLN411 (Address adult learning, literacy & numeracy skills) or equivalent.
• Don't have your Certificate IV in Training & Assessment? That's okay, we still want to hear from you_.

A degree, diploma or other approved tertiary qualification in relevant industry vocational area to enable to teach across any of the following courses/disciplines:

• Certificate III in Plumbing
• Certificate IV in Plumbing
• The appointee must be able to demonstrate the vocational competencies at least to the level of those delivered_.

Demonstrated current knowledge, relevant skills and

industry/commercial experience including:

• Eligible for licence with Plumbing Industry Commission in gas fitting, drainage, roofing, sanitary, mechanical services and water supply
• Residential and commercial projects

Salary:

_Subject to teaching qualifications_
Casual Teacher L1 (AQF4) $82.01 (teaching) and $55.74 (non-teaching) per hour

Casual Teacher L2 (AQF5) $85.23 (teaching) and $ non-teaching) per hour

Casual Teacher L3 (AQF6) $88.60 (teaching) and $60.19 (non-teaching) per hour

• Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate_.
