As a
Test Manager, you will be responsible for driving implementation of testing solutions within area of IT and provide technical advisory testing services to the broader business in order to optimise the offering where possible and support the business unit's strategy.
Accountable, through their squad, for the delivery of test scenarios, enhancements, initiatives, and accepting completed work as 'done' with validation from the Product Owner and end users.
The Paperless Engineering Operations program will transform Jetstar's Engineering operations from a legacy, paper-based operation to a mobility platform, with significant benefits in the areas of compliance, cost reduction, OTP improvement, error reduction, data quality and staff engagement.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Translate strategy for business unit into clear testing plans and drive implementation of these to deliver end-to-end technology testing solutions to the business
- Lead the testing program by developing scenarios to mitigate against system failures and human errors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with service partners to ensure delivery against agreed business outcomes
- Closely partner with and influence relevant parties to understand and demonstrate how technology testing solutions can address the segment's issues, needs and goals
- Reviews and recommends improvements to systems, processes and procedures, which may involve scanning the external environment, to effectively support the business unit achieve increased efficiencies and reduced costs
- Provide leadership and coaching to team members to cultivate customer service focus and enhanced team capability
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience in relevant IT area
- Proven experience with relevant technologies, methods and standards
- Strong people leadership capabilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
