The Opportunity

The role of the Program Support Officer is to support the delivery of the Self-Employment Assistance (SEA) Program, including customer service, administration, performing eligibility checks, assist with candidate enrolment and attending to all other general enquiries about the SEA program. You will also provide candidate or program information to the mentors and others in the organisations. You will help collate, update and generate progress reports of the program.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide accurate and timely advice to students on program progression, administration and enrolment.
  • Work collaboratively with candidates, mentors and the SEA team to support them with relevant matters related to the SEA program.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of effective processes that contribute to the delivery of exceptional service to the SEA candidates.
  • Manage inbound and outbound phone and online enquiries.
  • Provide accurate program information, eligibility, and enrolment advice.
  • Assist participants with preparation of key enrolment documentation.
  • Identify barriers in the enquiry and application process and escalate methods to overcome them.
  • Accurate management of the student database and use of other systems.
