About the Role:


Reporting to the Superintendent Field Equipment Maintenance, you will be accountable for the supervision of the workgroup team to ensure the planned performance and integrity of the assigned fleet at the lowest practical cost.


You will lead, coach and mentor employees, ensure a safe system of work is in place for each activity, contribute to continuous improvement, reliability and quality maintenance and develop, communicate and execute the Mobile Equipment Maintenance work plan.


As a Scheduled 26 appointed Person, you are required to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations.


This opportunity will be offered on a 8 days on / 6 off / 7 nights on / 7 days off roster.

About You:

Are you an inquisitive, team-spirited and outcome focused individual who is passionate about safety and have the ability to build great relationships within our team, than this is the next role for you


You will ideally have significant experience with the operation and maintenance of heavy mining equipment including D65 and Pit Viper drills, 9600 and 9400 Liebherr experience.

A strength of yours will be your ability to communicate efficiently, ensuring the development of staff through your influencing and relationship management skills.

You will be a proactive, credible and influential member of the leadership team whilst building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.

You will hold a current full "C" class manual driver's license.
