Merri bek Libraries are much more than just books. Our libraries are vibrant neighbourhood hubs offering social connection, cultural interactions and learning opportunities. We are seeking a library technician who is passionate about providing a high-quality service to our community.
In performing this role your responsibilities will be to engage with our diverse communities to provide excellent customer service. Activating the MakerSpace through the delivery of planned programs and promoting programs through outreach activities.
Skills and experience require to perform the role:
- Diploma of Library and Information Services or equivalent relevant experience
- Some public library experience would be an advantage
- Ability to contribute to and deliver projects and programs
- Demonstrated high level computer literacy skills
