This industry leader with a large national vertically integrated footprint and a fully operational business within multiple market segment across Australia.

This is a business-critical role that will have full responsibility for a large business unit.

Job Requirements:


Lead a greenfield development and all required aspects to deliver on acquisition KPI's - including obtaining all required govt & environmental approvalsLead a large and diverse team in the processing operation and supply chain whilst drawing in the required cross functional expertise from the broader corporate organisationDeveloping business cases and execute major projects across and end to end supply chain from farms to processing.

Manage all financial responsibilities including reporting, budgets and major projects.
Lead quality and supply performance.
Develop strategic growth activities to drive business performance and to meet profitability targets. Capitalise on significant new market opportunities and ensuring that realistic profit and growth objectives are met.

Work with People & Culture team to build strategic resourcing plan for site & all other corporate service functions to develop appropriate delivery plans and strategiesBackground, Experience and Personality traits:
Tertiary qualifiedIdeally have experience in a senior leadership role within a vertically integrated manufacturer. This will most likely come from the food or broader agricultural industry.

Have an ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to develop new processes for the benefit of the business.

Senior leadership background, able to think strategically and deliver through people and process.
They must be prepared to roll their sleeves up and be hands on when required.
Need to have extensive experience in manufacturing, with a strong knowledge of the broader supply chain.
Commercially astute, they must be able to understand financial reports, manage a budget and make commercial decisions.
Able to develop and execute business cases to deliver on company strategy and objectives.
Collaborative in their style, inclusive in making decisions.

Strong communication, coaching, consultation and negotiation skills with an ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders including senior executive level employees as well as line management and operators.

Effective connector across internal functionsStrong presence and professional in their presentation. Able to gain attention quickly and be recognised as a strong leader in the business.
High energy with an ability see the long games and manage day-to-day.
Must be able to adapt their style depending on the audience.
Proven in driving change.
