We are seeking experienced and qualified technicians for the Road Service Division for a national equipment hire company.

Uniforms are fully provided, and parking is on-site. They are offering competitive rates depending on your experience and skill level.


Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll also appreciate working with a great team of people at the branch who are there to support you.


The Role:


As a Road Service Mechanic, you are expected to deliver consistent and high-quality service solutions to support customers every day.

This hands-on role will require regular travel to customer sites to perform all types of service requirements on a variety of forklift and access equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
The key focus of this role involves the mobile servicing of customer forklifts and other lifting equipment

This includes:

  • Planned maintenance (PMP) and inspections
  • Repairs
  • Overhauls
  • New machine builds
  • Modifications

Qualifications / Experience:
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following:

Essential:

  • Automotive or Diesel mechanic trade background,
  • Be a team player,
  • Attention to detail,
  • Be able to work with mínimal supervision,
  • Good customer service relationships,
  • Must be reliable and punctual.

Desirable:

  • Electrical and hydraulic experience highly regarded.
