About You:
Are you a dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic Visiting Medical Specialist looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic, growing healthcare network where you will be part of a supportive team delivering high quality care to the community? If so, then this could be the opportunity for you.
In this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships.
An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential to this role.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Visiting Medical Specialist within the Women and Children's Division.
- As a Visiting Medical Specialist within the Family Advisory Unit, you will be:
- responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to you in collaboration with the responsible Resident Medical Officers, Registrars, Nurses and Allied Health professionals.
- involved in Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
- involved in continuing education activities.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Health Visiting Medical Specialists Enterprise Agreement 2012 (or its successor).
