We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Chef Manager to oversee kitchen operations at our care facility in Kempsey, NSW.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
  • Develop innovative menus tailored to residents' dietary preferences.
  • Supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold high-quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and food costs to align with budget objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Cultivate a positive and collaborative workplace that promotes teamwork and innovation.
  • Address customer inquiries, feedback, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.

Who are we seeking?

  • Demonstrated experience as a Chef Manager or similar role in a high-volume kitchen setting.
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal abilities to motivate and empower a team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of culinary practices, food safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Preferred certification or diploma in culinary arts or a related field.
