Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OHS Manager to manage our Occupational Health and Safety function.
This pivotal role involves managing OHS operations across all brands under the AHB Group banner, ensuring compliance with legislation, and fostering a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
OHS Operational Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
Review OHS audit data and business failed itemsand produce reports for management.
Meetings:
Conduct monthly OHS meetings with leadership.
Work Cover and Return to Work: Manage plans and claims.
Policy Development and Implementation:
Create and ensurecompliance with OHS legislation.
Implementation and Reviews:
Oversee new systems and annualupdates.
Investigations:
Manage post-construction Work Safe and Fairworkcases.
Training:
Conduct quarterly OHS training for employees.
Report Analysis:
Regularly review various OHS reports.
OHS Construction Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Plan and oversee the training of OHSAdvisors.
KPI Monitoring:
Analysis of the OHS teams monthly KPIs.
Induction/Onboarding:
Oversee new team members and supplieronboarding.
Policy Implementation:
Oversee new policies are effectivelyimplemented.
Incident Management:
Oversee Work Safe notices and incidents.
Documentation:
Maintain and update safety templates and dataweekly.
What We Are Looking For:
Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety.
Leadership and management experience.
Significant experience in construction or multisite manufacturingenvironments.
Full Victoria Driver's License and flexibility to travel across Victoria.
Proficiency in using OHS software and technology.
Experience dealing with Work Safe, Work Cover, and Fairwork.
