About the Role

Are you ready to start something significant? Working with top-notch Caterpillar machinery, you will learn about the repair, service, and maintenance of a wide range of equipment, engines, and power systems. Through on-the-job training and study, guided by experts in the industry, you will develop skills and knowledge that will last a lifetime.

We provide a competency-based apprenticeship that enables you to obtain your trade certificate in under four years and acquire invaluable skills.

Our intake for 2025 commences in February 2025.

About You

In pursuing an apprenticeship, you should bring the following skills, experience, and attributes:

• A genuine passion for pursuing a career in your selected trade, as evidenced by work experience or prior studies in the field
• Completion of year 12 in 2024 or prior completion of year 12 with satisfactory performance in English and Maths or leaving school before finishing grade 12 with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a relevant domain
• Experience in an industrial environment and proficient use of hand tools
• A positive approach to workplace safety and health
• Strong listening, comprehension, and communication skills
• A willingness to commit to structured training
